****EXCITING NEWS: From the beginning we have said that if God is in this, He WILL provide and open doors along the way. WELL…over the last couple of weeks, God has made it very obvious that this is where He wants us. Generous donations have gone through and the negotiation process is complete! Our offer was accepted!!
We are currently in the closing process for the land that will be for our home that is right next to the youth home we serve!
Our home will hope to be a safe place that we know that Ezekiel and our future children can run and play, a welcoming refuge for dormitories to come and visit us to do some activities with, and a place of rest for supervisors on their day off that they can come and spend the night and rest before they go back to care for the children.
We are currently seeking to close out phase one: land purchasing.
Will you consider helping us raise the remaining amount?

Knowing that life is a journey with ups and downs, understanding that there is a God who has everything under control gives me peace that not everything depends on me.
My responsibility is to share the good news with those around me that there is a God who loves us and who made a sacrifice on the cross for all our sins, and that we can be part of his great plan and family. That is why I try to be intentional in all my daily activities knowing that everything I have to do should be done with the thought that it is for our God, and boy does that take a weight off my shoulders because I don't have to impress or meet anyone else's expectations, but only Jesus who is our Savior.
So I encourage you, wherever you are reading this, there is peace in our hearts when we know that God has forgiven our sins through the Sacrifice of Jesus and that we can be part of this great family and that we can do everything we do for God.

In December 2020, I had the opportunity to go witness, serve and pray over the children and women of San Martin Esperilla for the first time. God was very present in this mission trip. When I returned back with my girls (that I was caring for in the youth home as a supervisor), God spoke deeply to me.
You come to Esperanza Viva Youth Home and you see the hope that is filled in this place, you see the opportunities and the healthy meals that these children are provided. You see that healing is taking place in their life so that their past doesn’t define their possibilities in their future.
What you don’t see?
What had brought them to Esperanza Viva in the first place. The abuse, the extreme poverty like the children in San Martin, the need for love and an education or simple medical care. But because of the countless prayers and those who support, these children have a place to begin to heal and show that their past doesn’t and will never define their future.
And San Martin is part of that plan. To show them that together and with the God’s help and guidance, they too can break this cycle.
That is what is all about, Living Hope.
I personally have seen that this ministry goes beyond the doors of Esperanza Viva and continues to seek to help the communities and children who need it most. There are more out there and we will continue to let God guide us to exactly where He needs us. An outreach building has been built which means we have a place that those can come and hear the gospel and necessary care will be provided to those who desperately need it the most.
My role has shifted since 2020. I may not be a supervisor for these rescued children at Esperanza Viva anymore, but I have the incredible privilege of sharing Living Hope's mission: reaching, rescuing, and restoring the lives of these precious children to be part of providing for those who need it the most.
God has placed a deep desire in my heart to help them, and thanks to your support, I can do just that.
Thank you to all of you for letting me do just that.
